StartHub Hessen

StartHub Hessen is part of HTAI and a neutral platform for startups in Hessen and all the other players involved in the ecosystem. Its main goal is to provide an overview of the opportunities and possible partners in the ecosystem who can help to deal with their current challenges. Since 2020, StartHub Hessen has been tasked with ecosystem management in Hessen.

The white paper „Start-up State Hessen“ provides detailed steps for the implementation and further development of the Hessen Start-up Initiative. It presents the offerings that have emerged since 2018 and describes further measures to strengthen Hessen as a start-up location in key action areas focussing on sustainability.

Hessen Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Initiative (H2BZ Initiative Hessen)

The Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzellen-Initiative Hessen (H2BZ-Initiative Hessen) is a Hessian network for hydrogen and fuel cell technology. It brings together information from politics, business, research and society to advance this technology. It is also the central point of contact for companies that want to develop projects in this field.


LEA LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen GmbH (LEA Hessen)

On behalf of the Hessen state government, LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen GmbH (LEA Hessen) plays a central role in implementing the transition to renewable energy sources and in climate protection. The offerings are aimed at Hessen residents, social organizations, municipalities and companies. LEA Hessen offers information, initial consultations and support in the selection and implementation of measures for climate protection, energy efficiency, energy saving and the expansion of renewable energy sources.

Technologieland Hessen

Under the brand name Technologieland Hessen, Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH combines technological innovations and promotes the development, application and marketing of key technologies in Hessen. On behalf of the state’s Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Housing, Technologieland Hessen informs, advises and connects companies that develop forward-looking innovations.

The ‘Houses of’ Hessen

The ‘Houses of’ Hessen is an interdisciplinary and supra-regional platform for collaborative research, training and further education as well as knowledge and technology transfer with the aim of putting sustainability into practice. In collaboration with the Frankfurt-based House of Logistics & Mobility (HOLM), special programs on sustainable fuels for aviation were developed. The House of Energy in Kassel acts as an innovation partner for the ‘Process4Sustainability’ cluster, which promotes the climate-neutral process industry in Hessen.
