LINAK, a global player with 2,500 employees across 35 countries, is investing around €2 million to upgrade its German facility in Nidda, just northeast of Frankfurt. The project aims to create modern working environments that meet today’s requirements, increase the company’s attractiveness as an employer, support long-term talent retention, and contribute to the sustainable development of the location.

The company’s presence in Germany dates back to 1990. Seeking to serve this important market from a central location, LINAK chose Nidda for its proximity to Frankfurt and its strong connectivity. What began as a two-person team has since developed into a key operation with approximately 80 employees.

The renovation project, which began in January, will first upgrade the office building, followed by the warehouse and workshop facilities. LINAK is introducing open, light-filled office spaces with modern furnishings, improved acoustics, and clearly defined areas for focused work and team interaction. A key component of the upgrades is the energy-efficient refurbishment of the warehouse and workshop buildings. The measures reflect how today’s workplaces are evolving, shaped by digitalization, new workflows, and closer collaboration.

LINAK’s site in Nidda is the heart of the company’s German operations, covering sales, technical consulting, service, and quality assurance. The company serves a wide range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, mechanical engineering, medical technology, furniture and workplace systems, and agricultural applications. Its product portfolio includes electric linear actuators, lifting columns, control units, operating elements, and accessories, used in both standard and customized solutions.

As an employer, LINAK is firmly rooted in Hessen, offering opportunities for professionals across technical, commercial, and service functions. At the same time, the site benefits from Hessen’s central location and its proximity to the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region – one of Europe’s largest and most dynamic talent pools. Employees gain access to the global expertise of an international company while working in a regional setting defined by strong local ties and a relatively flat organizational structure.
